Stuff

Today Molly decided to show off some of her new "stuff." Auntie Kater sent her a full compliment of Vans sneakers for every day of the week. Grandma Dee Dee knit her a hat and coat (which she made two years ago, but Charlie was a boy...so Molly got first dibs being the first baby girl!) Love it all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Molly's Day

Today, Molly tried on her new sneakers and then we visited Dr. Bernstein's office for a weight check. She managed to poop herself as she went into the examining room, and in true new parent fashion, we found ourselves with a diaper blowout up the back, and only one wipe. After clean-up, she was weighed... 7 pounds 9 ounces. Up from post hospital weight of 7 pounds 3 ounces. We then visited Alli's former co-workers, had lunch at the Milwaukee Public Market, and visited Auntie Emily at Hanson-Dodge. After a busy day, Molly had a snack and took a brief siesta...

Weekend Update

This has been a very busy weekend. Grandma and Grandpa Smoko are in town to meet me! They are great. I can't wait to spend more time with them. I also have been extremely busy eating and pooping. Must be a growth spurt already. I went to coffee at Anodyne for the first time on Saturday with mommy and daddy. They wouldn't let me have any, but Uncle Keith seems very proud I am getting an early introduction to the coffee scene. Thanks for all the great packages I have been receiving in the mail and by UPS!

First day out

I went out for the first time today. My carseat and stroller are awesome. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Smoko!. I met my pediatrician Dr. Bernstein. She seems very cool and said I was perfect (but we already knew that, though, right?) Then we went shopping, Target of course. Can't wait to go out and explore some more.

Molly Flynn Has Arrived!

Molly Flynn was born very early Saturday, February 16th at 02:25 am. She is gorgeous, weighs 7 pounds 8 ounces and is 19 inches long. Her delivery wasn't the easiest, as she was slightly turned and needed vacuum assistance to make her way out but she is here and she is awesome!

Still waiting

The Baby Warmer is set-up and ready to go in the labor and delivery room. We arrived last night at 7:00 pm. Petocin started at 6:30 am today to induce contractions. The nurses and doctors say the baby is doing spectacular but regular meaningful contractions have yet to begin. Will post again when able.

Alli will be induced today, Thursday, February 14th at 6:00 pm central time. I will update this blog with information and pictures as time permits.
